The Internet Provides unprecedented access to a wide variety of information. Some information, however, may not be suitable for every viewer, especially children. Along with the positive benefits of browsing the Internet, there are also some negative aspects you the user need to be aware of.
West Offaly Training will be organizing a serious of one night events to explain how the Internet can be used safely in the home. These nights are more for parents who wish to ensure that the Internet is used properly as well as safely in the home and that their children or privacy are not exposed to unnecessary risks while online. The event will last 2 hours starting at 7:30pm, any questions you may have will be taken at the end. These events are free of charge to community related groups.
A full timetable can be seen by clicking here.
This Brief can be given on an outreach basis to groups in County Offaly and East Galway.
